The Pagadian City Water Park officially opened to the public on April 30, 2025, adding a vibrant aquatic attraction to the city’s scenic Baywalk area. Crafted to be inclusive and accessible, this lively destination features splash zones tailored for kids, comfortable shaded lounging spaces, and easy access to the waterfront designed to cater to fun-loving families and local residents alike.
This facility currently remains free of charge, as no local ordinance has yet been passed to authorize usage fees. This open-access policy makes it an affordable and refreshing destination for weekend family outings, impromptu gatherings, or casual relaxation.
Looking ahead, city officials anticipate that the water park will stimulate increased foot traffic and encourage more public engagement in the Baywalk area. This project is part of Pagadian’s broader initiative to enhance public spaces, enrich local tourism, and elevate community recreation amenities.
